THE DEFINITIVE DRAGON CODEX

Dragons are the sovereign rulers of the skies. In Rebecca Yarros's Fourth Wing and Iron Flame, each dragon species possesses unique temperaments, color hierarchies, and physical tail weaponry.

✦ The Six Sacred Dragon Colors

Black Dragons

Apex Class

The rarest, largest, and most formidable dragons in Navarre (e.g. Tairn). Known for devastating physical power, razor intellect, and unyielding moral conviction. They choose riders of absolute internal resolve.

Blue Dragons

Sovereign Class

Ruthless, fiercely intelligent, and exceedingly selective (e.g. Sgaeyl). They bond with riders possessing sharp, unapologetic lethal instincts and unwavering loyalty.

Green Dragons

Vanguard Class

The strategists of the skies (e.g. Feirge). Green dragons value logic, tactical patience, and unshakeable discipline in battle, serving as the calm backbone of battle wings.

Red Dragons

Assault Class

Fiery, quick-tempered, and aggressive front-line brawlers. Red dragons bond with warriors who charge headfirst into conflict with fierce passion.

Orange Dragons

Unpredictable

Volatile, proud, and hazardous to foolish cadets. Highly reactive dragons that demand dominant willpower and fearlessness to ride.

Brown Dragons

Bastion Class

Calm, steady, and protective defenders. Brown dragons bond with cadets of dependable loyalty, defensive instincts, and resolute fortitude.
