What is the official Dragonkind game?

Dragonkind (dragonkind.com) is the official interactive Threshing experience launched by Rebecca Yarros alongside the release of the Threshing Day collection. Players enter the Vale to bond with a dragon.

Why did my dragon burn me in Dragonkind?

In Empyrean lore, dragons test cadets for unbending resolve. If choices reflect hesitation, false pride, or panic, the dragon executes the cadet. Official testers report dying 3 to 4 times before successfully bonding.

What is the Dragonkind retry timer?

The official Dragonkind website enforces a 4-minute cooldown timer after being burned. During this wait, readers can play our instant fan simulator at ThreshingQuiz.com without any wait timer or sign-up.

✦ How to Survive Threshing: 4 Golden Rules

1. Never Flinch

Core Rule

Dragons respect unyielding resolve. When facing an apex predator in the Vale, turning your back or ducking in panic will result in immediate incineration.

2. Match Temperaments

Bond Affinity

Black dragons seek unshakable moral courage. Blue dragons demand ruthless lethality. Green dragons honor tactical logic. Choose actions reflecting who you truly are.

3. Respect the Feathertails

Ancient Lore

Small or young dragons (like Andarna in her youth) are fiercely protected by the Empyrean. Defending them from ruthless cadets earns ancestral respect.

4. Expect Multiple Deaths

Patience

The Vale is dangerous by design. More than 70% of cadets perish on their first attempts. If burned, learn from the error and step forward again.
